Ozzy Project: Sigma DP2M

I started using a Sigma DP2M camera for some of Ozzy's picture of the day. It's not an easy camera to use. It's basically a camera for bright light and low ISO (100-200) landscape photography and travel/street. It does best on a tripod. Still, you can get great grab shots of street and even pets using it, if you are steady with the camera and shoot in ISO 100-200 in color and 400-800 at the most in black and white. As I said, it's a challenge. I have seen some color casting (green) in some of the files. It's a problem with the Sigma DP series. I am hearing that Sigma fixed it in the DP3M camera though. We shall see.

Meanwhile, Ozzy is really bored with me taking pictures of him. I'm bored taking these pictures too, but it's a habit and it's for the project. I knew this going in; that it was a long range project. Still, I am thinking it's time to end this and take a few shots as the mood hits, and not do this every day. I will miss it, but I am thinking of starting another project.
