This is a picture I took while sitting in my car at the light. I used the iPhone, and then photoshop to point out what has been done to the landscape in East Granby, Connecticut. This whole front area used to be wooded, until construction workers and engineers blasted it all to widen the road. Farther down the road the damage is much worse. The whole rock face is exposed. I have no idea how the hell they will prevent rocks and debris from land sliding in muddy weather once they open this whole road up again. I wonder if they will put a retainer wall in?
